Harmless Tarantula?

We finally arrived in Australia after an over 25 hour journey from Victoria (sorry Em I didn't get a chance to meet you, it was such a short trip) Our trip to Victoria was so lovely. The people and the city were just as I remembered. We got to catch up with good friends and took an amazing walk along the ocean with Lora and Dave. We realized how much we truly love Victoria and wish we lived there again. Thank you to everyone who made our trip so amazing. You are such wonderful friends, you welcomed all three of us with open arms.
We were greeted to Sydney with 45 degree temperatures and thankfully the place that we are staying at has a saltwater pool. Our trip so far has consisted of pretty much all the touristy things you can do in Sydney. We visited the zoo, the aquarium, the botanical gardens (hands down my favorite so far), and gone for long walks around the neighborhood. It has been fantastic. We have plans to visit the coast, the snowies, and Bundeena where Dave's parents lived for the past 3 years. We are also going to stay at Marion and Darrins place for a few nights in Bondi. There is so much to do here, I can't wait to show you all the pics. Everywhere you look is beauty.
When changing Miles' car seat on our first day I found this exact spider in his car seat. It is a tarantula...except now it's dead (found floating in the pool, and posed perfectly to freak out the grandparents)
More stories and pictures to come....oh and did I mention that I'm sick as a dog and already have a sunburn? Making the best of it. Miss you all....except the snow.

Sick? Sunburned? Cry me a river woman - you are in Australia! Kidding - hope you feel better soon and get some sunscreen on the lily white skin of yours! Fish/plants/car all fine. Miss you all!
